"I always wonder when we will explore space and the universe as normal people. What will we bring? What will we do? I’ve painted a few canvases for my Astro series, and with Astro Girl, I wanted to bring forward the next-generation explorer—fearless, curious, and strong.
She is my little cousin, and she will help pave the way for a new tomorrow. She will explore worlds that I will never see, she will meet alien people I will never meet, and she will see the sun from a much closer distance than me. She will grow old, but through Astro Girl, she will always remain a kid, exploring paths no one has ever walked."
